Talk to Someone Who’s Been in Your Shoes

This isn’t some financial professional trying to sell you something. I was a medical student, too. I know what it’s like to feel behind, confused, and buried in debt. This is a judgment-free zone built for us, by us.

Your Questions, Answered.

  • We offer three levels of support—because not everyone needs the same thing. Whether you’re a DIY-er or someone who wants full financial mentorship, there’s a fit for you.

    Tier 1: Track & Reflect – $15/month + one-time $25 onboarding
This tier is ideal for the DIY-er who just wants clarity and accountability. You’ll receive a monthly PDF that breaks down your categorized spending and savings insights, plus a debt accumulation update so you can track your progress. There are no scheduled meetings—just automated clarity delivered to your inbox each month.

    Tier 2: Monthly Momentum – $39/month
Perfect for students who want a little more structure, feedback, and support. This includes everything in Tier 1, plus a monthly 30-minute Zoom or phone call to review your progress and set goals (like saving for electives or paying down your LOC faster). You’ll also receive custom insights into where you can cut back or shift habits, and you’ll have access to email or text support for quick questions between sessions.

Tier 3: The Full BYMD Experience – $79/month
This tier is for students who want a comprehensive financial support system through medical school and beyond. You get everything in Tier 2, plus personalized debt repayment strategies (including support with your LOC or other lines of credit), 1:1 insurance advising (disability, term life, and intro to options), residency and post-graduation planning, and early access to exclusive tools, guides, and templates.

All services require a 3-month commitment to start, followed by month-to-month billing. This gives us enough time to build momentum, set up your system, and see real results.

  • That’s totally fine. The “Lift Off” Service is designed exactly for that—students who want to get everything set up properly and then take it from there on their own.

The Lift Off is a one-time, intensive strategy session priced between $129–$199, depending on the depth of your needs and any add-ons. It includes a 60-minute 1:1 onboarding call where we’ll fully set up your budget in Lunch Money, map out custom categories tailored to med student life (including CaRMS, electives, and more), and create a personalized one-month spending plan. We’ll also cover your short- and long-term financial goals and walk through recommended tools, systems, and next steps to stay on track.

You’ll also have the option to book a 15-minute follow-up call after 30 days for check-in or troubleshooting.

This is a great option if you want clarity and structure up front, without committing to a monthly subscription.

  • We use Lunch Money, a modern budgeting app that works beautifully across devices and connects to your Canadian bank accounts using Plaid. You’ll get access to your own private dashboard + the “Coach” feature that allows us to:

    • Leave you guidance directly on your spending categories

    • Share custom feedback

    • Track progress toward goals together

You’re not just getting a spreadsheet—you’re getting a system and a coach, built for med students, by someone who gets it.

  • Yes—completely. I understand how personal and vulnerable it can feel to share your spending habits, especially as a med student figuring things out. When you sign up, I will be able to see your transactions to help categorize and analyze them—but that information is never shared with anyone else, ever.

Think of it like a patient coming to you with their health concerns. To actually help, they have to open up and trust that what they share stays between you and them. Budgeting is no different. You deserve a space that’s judgment-free, confidential, and focused on helping you move forward.

Privacy, trust, and respect are foundational to everything I do. This is a one-on-one service built by someone who’s been in your shoes—and it stays between us.

Not sure which option fits? That’s what the discovery call is for.
